Dec.1 marks the beginning of my 2 weeks challenge to blog & Read all the posts & books I've been procrastinating on completing throughout the year. I have 4 books to go and 5 posts to publish. Let's do this!
And please, I am pleading -- for the love of me, social media family : Don't "congrats" me unless I achieve it. I need you all to hold me accountable to this. I beg! Time is of essence.
---------------
Here are the books for my December Two weeks challenge to blog and read.
I'll start with the blogging, because finishing a book has become so difficult in his age of distraction. Somehow, I'm able to read 30+ online articles per day, but can't get through to a book anymore. It's so hard to focus. *Sigh*
PILE 1 = Books to finish reading. (They count as half-books, lol)
1. Main basse sur le Cameroun (Mongo Beti)
2. Une brève histoire de l'avenir (Jacques Attali) -- If my dad still sees this here, he will twist my ear. Lol.
3. The Mystery of Capital (Hernando de Soto) to have been finished since 2011. Lol. Gordon, if you see this, know that I'm half way through.
4. Tontines et développement (Moise Nzemen)
PILE 2 = Books to start and finish
1. Kamerun ! (Jacob Tatsitsa & Co) 650 pages, I might not succeed here, but will try. I told myself I had to finish book #1 in Pile 1 before I start this book.
2. The Law (by Bastiat) - since 2011. If my mentor (Gordon) sees this here, he will shake his head.
3. The book of laughter and forgetting (Milan Kundera)
.....
Honestly, If I tackle 75% of these readings by Dec. 15, I'll be a happy woman.
** Will share my progress report next week Monday, Dec.8 :)
