Finally made it to East Africa, for my first time. Thanks to a combination of Harambe-Cameroon, Microsoft 4Afrika , and the African Union. I'm looking forward to adding my stone to the consultation on Africa's Agenda 2063. Yes, the vision and imagination is pushed that far. What Africa do we want to have for the generation that would be youths and young professionals in 2063? What legal and policy foundations are we building for generation 2063? What are your thoughts? I would like to share them with the 55 other African participants invited for this consultation.
** Side note : I'm in awe with Nairobi man. For the last hours I have been wondering out loud, why would Nairobi residents want to migrate to the West? I mean, I can't even start comparing to our Yaoundé town (that I love! ) or even with Douala, I am still to find a common unit of measurement. This city seems to have most of the infrastructure, amenities and comfort people look for when they travel out of Africa. Hummm...I have two days to better shape my perception.
